Grant Guidelines...

NANAIMO COMMUNITY FOUNDATION...

The Nanaimo Community Foundation has supported many fine organizations and worthwhile projects in our region. Founded in 1982 by the Nanaimo Branch of The Associated Canadian Travelers, the Foundation has granted more than one million dollars to help make our community a better place for all to live. Individual grants can be as much as $25,000.00.

bulletSeniors & Housing,
bulletChildren & Youth,
bulletHealth Care,
bulletEducation,
bulletArts, Culture and Recreation,
bulletCommunity Infrastructure & Environment

Restrictions:

  1. The Foundation is currently able to assist with capital projects only.
  2. Operating funds or special project funds are not provided.
  3. Grants are limited to B.C. non-profit societies which are also federally registered charities,
  4. Grants are limited to capital projects within the geographical boundaries of the County of Nanaimo.

There is one grant application deadline: June 30th annually.
